This is my little display for my NABISCO 100 Calorie Snack Ho... on Twitpic" alt="YUMMY" width="600" height="450" />We really had a good time drinking, eating and trying the new snacks.  I wish I could figure out what my kids did with my digital camera! I could post more pictures!

We made "food words" from NABISCO ONE HUNDRED CALORIE SNACKS as our conversation starter and parlayed that into discussing the varieties of Nabisco 100 Calorie snacks.

Snack Mom Party

Conversation started by jetrace05

This Party was Big Hit.   We hosted a party for the girls softball team.

We also used this party to make our team banner to start our season.   Both were a huge hit.  I bought a some other boxes of Nabisco 100 cal.   The mom's loved them because the girls get hungry during and after the games and it's a quick and good snack to have.   It beats buying candy and oily popcorn at the park!  The coupons were a welcomed addition.  A couple of mom already used them to buy snacks for the games.  All the girls loved thier photo frames.   We took pictures of them in thier uniforms with the cookies.   Great Time.....

Great Party

Conversation started by cm2168

We had a blast!  Everyone loved the party favors and thought there were not enough cookies to go around.  The kids especially liked putting their cookies in the little martini glasses.  We are looking forward to the next party that comes our way.

Yum!

Conversation started by LucyRicardo

As we've firmly established from my goal update posts I don't like to work out. I do however like to snack. Anything that allows me to snack in a smart way and not add extra pounds is a GOOD thing! So when I was given the opportunity to host a party through House Party to introduce some friends to new 100 Calorie Pack flavors I jumped at the chance! After I agreed to host the party Nabisco sent me a HUGE box of the new 100 Calorie Pack Fudge Petites and Fudge Petites Mint, mini plastic martini glasses, magnetic fridge frames and coupons for 100 Calorie Packs. I then invited some good friends over and in keeping with the smart snacking theme encouraged them to bring their favorite "lite" snack or dessert to share. What a fun evening! I was worried about it turning into a "pitch" for Nabisco, but everyone had a good time socializing and eating. We had lots of yummy healthy snacks and everyone really liked the 100 Calorie Packs. We especially liked the mint flavor--they taste a lot like a Thin Mint Girl Scout cookie. And there's nothing not to like about that!!At the end of the evening everyone went home with coupons, frames and bags of 100 Calorie Packs. The only downside to the party is that I am now out of 100 Calorie cookies. Booooooo!

Finally having my party

Conversation started by akrawczak33

The orignial party date had to be cancelled due to conflicts at work.  We are finally having the party tonight.  I work with all females and we are all trying to live a bit healthier so what a better way to share than with these gals.

Everone is bringing a dish to pass from the recipes on the website.

For a prize - I went to the dollar store and made a "diva tub" of feet pampering items.  A dish tub, scrub, lotion, cloth, spa socks, polish and manicure set.  The person who receives "Your A Diva" on the bottom of the plate wins!

I also made up goody bags which look like pink purses with the picture fram, coupon and cookie samples.

We are all bringing t-shirts to decorate for our walk a thon we are participating in on Sunday.  Thanks Nabisco and House Party we can't wait to try all the dishes.

Party Time

Conversation started by settlma

We had a great night trying the different 100 Calorie Packs.  I purchased TONS of the other varieties and my guests had a blast trying new items.  It was great company and conversation.  We all agreed that it is so nice to have a snack that you don't have to figure out what the portion size is so you can figure out how many calories are in it.  We went to my kitchen cabinets and looked at the calories of some things and it was crazy to have to try to figure out what 1/2 cup of pumpkin pie would be.  How do you even measure that?  So it was great to know that you pick up a pack of 100 calorie packs and you know what you are eating!

We had a Delicious time!!

Conversation started by mandyhannan

Our Saturday party was FUN!!  My friends and family thought I took a new job marketing for Nabisco :)  The general concensus was that the Mint packs were AWESOME alone...but great with some reduced-sugar vanilla ice cream (some made their own "similar girl scout cookie national fast food chain ice cream treat" - haha...not trying to single out any companies! But our home made versions were awesome.  \

We used the shortbread ones with fresh strawberries and they looked FABULOUS in the little serving glasses.  It was a really warm day, so it was a satisfying snack.

We also played a quick and silly game of " I love my...because..." - and t he men cracked us up.  We had such a fun time.  Everyone was super excited to receive the fridge magnet and the coupon.  I think 2 or 3 attendees went straight to the store because she was definitely taking these with her to work for a great 100 cal snack.

We had 13 adults and 5 children at the party and can't wait for the chance to have another!!  There wasn't a single pack - or crumb left - only satisfued party goers and new nabisco 100 calorie pack fans!  Photos to come!

I really appreciate House Party giving us the opportunity to try out some of these great products and have a great time doing it!  I am thrilled with what I've seen from House Party!!!!  I have also probably sent about 10 of the 13 adults to maybe sign up for it!  They were all shocked at the awesome opportunity!

Right before my party was scheduled to happen, I wound up developing a serious bacterial infection in 2 of my teeth that had old  root canals, and the infection was spreading to my gums.  I was put on antibiotics, but the infection came back & I wound up needing oral surgery.

I emailed House Party about the situation, and asked if I could just give the party favors & snacks, etc, to the guests who were going to come.  Hand them out individually to the people, since I've been on painkillers & the surgery turned into a pretty extensive, painful procedure.

So...I didn't really have a "real" Houe Party this time; I thought about rescheduling, but I'm still on painkillers & can only eat mostly soft foods, so I didn't know when I'd be able to have it.  BUT...I handed out samples of both types of the snacks to all my friends, along with the picture frames & coupons, etc.  Even though I didn't have a party, everyone still got their goodies, and they all *loved* the new snack pack flavors!  My sister in law, myself & a friend of ours all love the 100 calorie packs, and buy them frequently, so they loved getting the free snacks PLUS coupons to use at the store.

I felt really bad about not being able to have a party after getting my party pack, but I did my best to use the party pack the way it was supposed to be used still, I handed everything out, I wanted houseparty.com to know that I wasn't keeping the party pack for myself or taking advantage of the site.  This infection I have has been dragging on forever it seems, I hope the surgery worked, because I'm still having alot of pain.  I'd like to recover & maybe try doing another house party in the future!!  :-)

100 Calorie Party

Conversation started by lilamishette

The fudge Petites ROCK!  My guests absolutely LOVED the idea of this party.  They had never even knew such a thing existed.  They were asking me if I was all of a sudden a marketing rep for Kraft (Nabisco)!  So, we started out at the house here.  We had some flatbread pizzas that I made.  My mom ended up bringing the 100 calorie pack recipe , chocolate covered and oreo dipped strawberries.  They were phenominal.

I had the little martini glasses filled with taste tests of chocolate martinis, garnished with a fudge petite!  Everyone thought that was a lot of fun.  So we talked for a bit about the usefulness of Nabisco's 100 calorie packs, and how they help us stay on track with our nutrition, rather than splurging on a whole bag of chips, or eating half a cake!

After having some good conversation, we headed out to a local tavern to hear a band play.  We brought our boxes of 100 calorie packs with us, and handed them out as samples!  We all thought that was a lot of fun, and so did everyone else at the bar!  Everyone loved them, saying wow, these are great.  Are they out in stores?  I said well, yes, of course they are!

So, I think we got the word out very well about these fudge petite and mint fudge 100 calorie packs.  Everyone who tasted them, absolutely loved them.

I had a blast hosting this party, and REALLY hope I get a chance to do another party!  I have applied to a few others, but got declined.  Maybe there is a limit to how many you can host in a certain amount of time?   There is this realy great McDonalds/Shrek one, that my kids would LOVE.  Then there is a french one with cocktails or something of that nature.  They all sound lovely!

If you are reading this, and have not signed up to do a party yet, I would suggest to do this.  They really set you up with a nice hosts party pack!

Enjoy!

Jessica

Girls Night

Conversation started by 3dayfanatic

What started as a girls night ended up being a couples night.  Everyeone LOVED the new fudge petites, the fudge petites with mint were phenominal!!!  They were first to go on the menu. After this delicious appetizer, we stoked the fires with some firehouse chili over rice - a favorite for all my friends.

The top hit, though, were some of the recipes I tried from the Nabisco 100 site.  The oreo thins and chips ahoy with the cool whip - everyone could not get enough of!  I put them in rubber muffin cups to keep them neat and individualized and the kids were slurping them down faster than you could say "Bob's your uncle!"  And I have to admit they were yummy!

My personal favorite was the strawberries covered in chocolate and then dipped in the oreo thin crisps - oh, my!  They were a crunchy and juicy delight!

My one friend stated that the Lorna Doones were her all time favorite and took home several packages for later ;-p

Part of the party was a gold sale party - one of my neighbors buys old gold jewelry.  She bought gold from several of the girls.  Most received over $200 for a few items!  Everone was thrilled with the party and then had cash in their pockets to go home with.

The best part was getting together with friends and enjoying some delicious food - Thanks Nabisco!

Girls Night

Conversation started by antfunk

I am a little late hosting my Nabisco 100 Calorie Pack party.  My original date got postponed due to some of my guest being ill - so I finally had my party last eveng.  I treated my female co-workers with an evening of some delicious treats.  I started out with a plan in mind to have everything match with the purple colors.  I used a purple tablecloth and white cups and purple napkins.  I decided to use my rhinestone mirror as a door prize.  Before the party I wrote the word "DIVA" on the bottom of a cup and announced during the party for everyone to check the bottoms of their cups and the winner was soo surprised.  I wrapped the mirror up in a purple and teal box that was adorned with purple ribbon.  I also made up goody bags with girly notepads and matching pens and of course a martini glass as a favor and some miniature candy bars.  They each also received coupons and a box of Nabisco treats.  They were so surprised to receive such goodies.  For the menu I cut up some sharp cheddar cheese and served it with crackers and I made a few of the recipes with the banans and peanutbutter with chopped up pretzel pieces and also the strawberriew the cream cheese and then dipped them in the choc covered pretzels as well.

They all enjoyed the Nabisco 100 calorie treats and thought they were delicious.  I served the treats in the martini glasses as well.  We had an enjoyable evening eating delicious snacks and had some girl time.  They were all quite impressed on the package I received from house party and was eager to try out the website. Thank you again for this wonderful opportunity to host such a satisfying party.

What a great party!

Conversation started by cmontgomery

This was such a great day! Our weather was beautiful so we had a bar-b-q. All of my guests were amazed at how much the party packs contained and excited that the coupons were of such a high value. I sent all my guests home with mini party packs with coupons, cookies and martini glasses!

I made lots of little snacks using the recipes from this site.  The chocolate covered banana, strawberry and oreo cakester kabobs were one of the biggest hits. I served chocolate mousse with cookie toppings in the martini glasses, they were such a big hit with the kids that they were gone before I could take pictures! I was really amazed by how quick and simple I could make alot of the snacks and how delicious they were. My favorite was frozen Cool Whip balls rolled in crushed Oreo 100 calorie cookies and Mint Petite Shortbreads. They tasted like little ice-cream sandwiches! I also made strawberries dipped in chocolate and rolled in crushed cookie, and ice-cream served in the martini glasses with a cookie topping.

The girls had fun using the magnets to come up with little sayings. A couple adult beverages later, they were coming up with some pretty interesting ones!!

I'm glad I got to host this party, especially since it was for a product that I already use. Because of the party, I found some really delicious, quick and easy new snacks and got to spend a beautiful afternoon with my family and friends!

I hosted a Nabisco 100 Calorie Delicious Living Office Party!  We had baked potatoes, a fresh garden salad made with veggies from my garden, herbed parmesan cheese bread and colorful bell peppers with hummus.  For dessert, I served a key lime pie made with Nabisco Fudge Petite cookie crust in the little martini glasses, topped off with the Nabisco Mint Fudge Petites, a sprig of fresh Chocolate Mint and a fresh Lavender flower!  They looked just like little martini glasses!   The Fudge Mint was the favorite by far!

We played games like What’s Your Like? The grand prize winner, Heidi, won the glamorous sparkling purple rhinestone mirror compact.  This definitely just what everyone needed after having to be stuck in the office at work on such a beautiful Spring day!  They all loved the martini glasses and magnet frames.  Extras were quickly claimed for daughters at home… and one wife!  I shared recipes for all to use and the coupons will come in handy in making them!

What’s My Like?  Nabisco 100 Calorie Fudge Mint Petites!
